Stop the Execution of Stanley Tookie Williams!
As you may know, Stanley Tookie Williams has been sentenced by the state to die on December 13th at San Quentin. Stanley Tookie Williams has been nominated several times for Nobel Prizes in Peace & Literature -- for his anti-violence, anti-gang work and nearly a dozen intervention books about gang life. Letters of clemency may be the only thing that can save Mr. Williams' life.

You may have also seen the 2004 film, "Redemption," starring Jamie Foxx as Mr. Williams -- a film the Cannes Film Festival called a film to save the world. Last night (at the premiere for Jarhead), Foxx was asked his reaction to the execution date. December 13 is also Foxx's birthday and he asked the Governor for a present: clemency for Stanley Tookie Williams.
