Global Holiday Faire

The Global Holiday Faire is an annual event in Vallejo that raises both money and awareness for nonprofit organizations, in our community and around the world. The Faire is an “alternative” gift faire in every sense of the word - it is an alternative to Christmas shopping as usual. For example, it offers hundreds of gift items for sale from artisans in developing countries through “fair trade” organizations. Fair trade offers a fair price to artisans, craftsmen, and farmers, particularly in the Third World, and works to improve their living and working conditions.

Since all proceeds go to nonprofit organizations, the Faire's slogan is "One stop shopping - Double your holiday giving."

Other items for sale include locally-created art, crafts, baked goods, gift baskets, and photos with Santa. Lunch is also offered for sale. Local choirs perform while patrons shop.

Free admission. This is a handicap-accessible event.
