Consumer confidence drops 18% in Sept. to 15-year low
In September, the U.S. consumer confidence dropped a whopping 18.9 points to a 15-year low of 86.6. Clearly, the average citizen is completely disgusted by the Voodoo Economics of the NeoCon disaster train(i.e., tax cuts to the richest 1%, wasting over $300 Billion & counting in illegal Wars on Iraq & Afghanistan, wanton destruction of the nation's environment, and, of course, the deliberate & racist drowning of poor Blacks in New Orleans during the Katrina fiasco.)
In addition to generating over $1 Trillion of Federal deficits since its occupation of the White House, the Bushwhacked NeoCon oil cabal has also facilitated the export of hundreds of thousands of jobs--both high tech & low--to overseas subsidiaries of U.S. multi-national corporations. As well as urging American consumers to go shopping after the 9-11 catastrophe, resulting in an annual trade deficit running close to $700 Billion this year alone!
Finally, the Public is beginning to recognize the fraudulent financial policies of the "War and Spend and Pay Off Corporate Buddies" Party headed by King/Boy George the second. Never in the 230+ years of the Republic has there been a more incompetent(nay, EVIL) regime of profligate economic mismanagers.
With the rising oil prices expecting to further slow down the fossil-dependent U.S. economy in the coming year, not to mention the inevitable fall of the Dollar's value(and both factors leading to a rapid increase in the interest rate), the already teetering U.S. economy may well see the last two heretofore 'bright lights' of A) consumer spending and B)the recent housing bubble of rising real estate values, burn out in dramatic fashion either by the end of 2005 or beginning of 2006. In that case, watch out for a Category 10 Financial Storm to wallop the economy in a manner not seen since(or perhaps even exceeding!) the Great Depression.
This is the true lesson in Economics 101 that mainstream corporate Capitalist business schools won't teach to their students. The entire 500-year structure of Capitalism(which will be revealed to be a gigantic house of cards) may well flounder & even implode under its own 'Twin Towers' of Unprecedented Corporate Greed and the Bushido of Evil Empire Builders. Will the Planet's 6 Billion+ citizens learn the critical lesson before they are brought down by Capitalism's impending Collapse? Will there be enough time for the Progressive Collectives to implement sufficient countermeasures to stop the Capitalist Disaster Train? Stay tuned...
