British agents caught planting terrorist bombs in Basra

by Jonathan
BASRA, Iraq, Sept. 19 -- Monday's clashes stemmed from the arrest by Iraqi police on Sunday of two British soldiers, whom Iraqi police accused of planting bombs. Iraqi officials described the two as undercover soldiers dressed in civilian clothes and said a shooting incident broke out when police stopped their civilian vehicle.

Heavy clashes erupted Monday between Iraqi police and British soldiers based in Basra, Iraq's second-largest city, witnesses said.

The clashes are the latest in surging tensions in Basra, a Shiite-dominated city that had long been one of Iraq's calmest. Attacks have targeted Britons and Americans there.

A Western military spokesman in Basra confirmed "an ongoing disturbance" in the city on Monday but said Iraqi and British forces were working together to quell it.

"There is public disorder going on," the official said. "We are aware that Iraqi authorities are holding U.K. service personnel, and we are liaising with Iraqi authorities on the matter."

Witnesses said the clashes developed amid British attempts to win the release of the two Britons. Fighting in the city continued into Monday evening, and witnesses saw a British armored vehicle in flames after it was allegedly set on fire by Iraqi police. Police convoys circulated in downtown Basra, urging residents to help stop the British from freeing the two soldiers.

Black ops, false flag ops, psy ops -- take your pick. It's a basic tool in the spooky-spook bag of tricks, and just symptomatic of deepening capitalist totalitarianism aka fascism. The Nazis did the exact same thing. TV and schools and career political liars have reduced average American minds to such mush that the bagman end of the state crime syndicate is becoming extremely bold, convinced it can get away with anything. Sadly, they may be right

september 18th i think it was 1938 was the day japanese generals packed dynomite under the train depot tracks that was used as a prelude to invade manchura. Suprisingly Bush also picked september 18th as the start of the terror war that has pushed the US into Afganistan, Iraq, haiti among others. just thought I share that since mabey some of you had forgotten.

Actually, it was 1931. World War Two began a decade before we are taught in school it began. Interestingly enough, it didn't really end till 1953. Ukrainian nationalist militia which had sided with the Nazis, switched sides in 1945, and continued to fight the Soviet army. They were supplied, financed and in some cases trained, by American intelligence. Eventually they were cornered and exterminated in 1953 in a pitched battle in which 30,00 died in a single day. The story is in *blowback* by Simpson. Great book. Can't recommend it too highly.

In America, schools teach that WWII started in 1941 and lasted four years. In Europe they teach that it began in 1939 and lasted six years. In fact, it began in 1931, and lasted twenty two years.

That's how far off the history they teach us in school is.

If you want to get REALLY expansive, there's really only been one world war. It started in 1912, sparked by growing tension between Europe and Asia Minor (the Balkan Wars) and has raged ever since. Here's how it works:

We think we live in an era of mind-boggling technological discovery, but really we're in its waning days. From 1880 to 1910, there was a steady stream of mind-boggling technological advances, any one of which would have changed the world enormously. Petroleum-based fuels; stable high-explosives; instantaneous electronic communication, including wireless; powered flight; much much more. To laypersons this is just wow-neato stuff, but to the class that actually has control and sees the world as a big game board, the significance was obvious and enormous: by drastically expanding the possibilities of warfare and centralized control, these advances would make true global conquest a reality. Global empire having become possible, it also immediately became inevitable. All this was understood instantly by strategic minds on all sides. None of them had to be told. What remained to be seen was who would win the contest.

WWI didn't kick off because some nutbag Serb whacked the arch-duke Ferdinand. It opened because Germany and Britain saw this ultimate contest coming years in advance and had been preparing frantically for it. Now both were convinced they could win and used this ridiculous excuse to lunge for each other's throats.

The "Allies" won this opening episode of course, but WWI hardly resolved the contest. This was quite possibly the most ghastly stupid war Westerners have ever experienced, and when it was over everybody had to sit back, lick their wounds, and sort it all out. The 1920s were far and away the longest pause in this One World War. Sure enough, though, the megalomaniacs steeled themselves up and went at it again, and it's been pretty much non-stop ever since.

After "WWII" we supposedly had the "Cold War" aka "WWIII." This was an undeclared contest between the Soviet/Chinese/communist global bid on the one hand and the US/Western/capitalist bid on the other, but waged via proxies representing both sides. Since it never really came to pass, the whole 'specter of nuclear war' thing was really an abstract nghtmare that only distracted people from what was really going on, which was millions of people dying all over the Third World.

The parties changed, but the contest remained the same: who gets to rule the world? Again the biggest meanest dog prevailed

Nowadays, this 'War on Terror' noise is being used to rationalize the continuation of the One World War. Some are calling this "WWIII" when really it should be considered "WWIV" but who's counting? I'm not. We're told this current phase is "a fight that will last for decades!" Um, and how does it differ in this respect from the previous phase (44 years)? Or the one before that (as 'buff' tells us 22 years)? In the same vein, what's not recognized about this present fourth phase is that it first became a military contest not with the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan, but way back 1991 with the US assault of Iraq. Really, it traces back to the mid-east oil/political crises of the 1970s (e.g. the Iranian Revolution), and ultimately to the 1950s and beyond.

The phases don't succeed each other discretely, they overlap by many years. WWI seems to sit off by itself, but not really. The earliest inklings of the "Cold War" came right after WWI when the Western countries, including the US and Britain, invaded Russia on two fronts in an attempt to topple the Bolsheviks. Like every other invasion of Russia this one failed and everyone went home to sulk and nurse their resentments for a couple decades. Thus "WWIII" can be said to have preceded "WWII" !!!!

But that's only because these numbers are stupid anyway. It's really all one thing. And it's not happening for the stated reasons. It's happening because super-wealthy madmen see in technology a means to total power. These lunatics aren't just found among "The Enemy," i.e. the other side. In fact as time passes and the opponents drop away, it's our side that looks more and more like Maniac Central, while the 'bad guys' are merely struggling to hold their own. Iraq's a real good example

Thai marines killed by villagers
Tanyong Limo villagers block a district road - 21/9/05
Roads to the village were earlier blocked by local women
Two marines seized by villagers in Thailand's troubled south in response to a shooting incident have been knifed and beaten to death.

The men were seized after a drive-by attack on the village of Tanyong Limo, in which at least one person died.

Some villagers said the marines were involved in the attack and were members a government-backed death squad.

But Thai authorities denied the claim, saying the men were seized as a result of mistaken identity.

Thailand's largely Muslim southern provinces have been hit by a wave of violence for more than a year and a half, leaving more than 900 people dea

Once again they are trying to distract you by changing the subject. It is interesting, is is not, that this time it is not the racist evil of Zionism they want you to not think about, but the prevelance of false flag ops in modern warfare.
