Please attend the Modesto City Council meeting next Tuesday, September 13,
2005, to show, by your presence, opposition to an ordinance the Council is
scheduled to pass that would effectively ban future medical cannabis
dispensaries and shut down existing dispensaries through zoning laws.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., at the Modesto City Council chambers
on the basement level of 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto.
Closing the Modesto dispensaries would force hundreds of sick patients to
travel great distances to obtain medical-grade cannabis. Please show up
(in neat, clean clothes) on September 13 at 5:30.
