An evening of Music, Poetry & Commentary with John Trudell to Benefit the Buffalo Field Campaign.
John Trudell, acclaimed poet, national recording artist, actor and activist will be speaking in SF, September 9, 2005.
Trudell(A Santee Sioux) records his poetry to traditional Native music and his latest CD, Bone Days, was executive produced by Academy Award winning actress Angelina Jolie. In addition to his music career, Trudell has played roles in a number of feature films, including Thunderheart and Smoke Signals.
Mr. Trudell will be reading poetry and speaking as part of a fundraiser for the Buffalo Field Campaign(BFC). Mike Mease, co-founder of the BFC and Josh Osher from the frontlines, will be story-telling, showing video and talking on their work to save the Yellowstone Buffalo.
September 9, 2005 7pm $15.00 (tickets purchased at the door)
