Boycott Badlands Sat. Aug 20th!
9pm: guest speakers and community rally at LYRIC (127 Collingwood)
10pm: picket in front of Badlands (4121 18th Street)
Dems, Trans and Progressives Unite --
to Boycott Badlands this Saturday night!
Join us on the picket line this Sat. night as we tell Les Natali: "Mediate!
Don't discriminate!" You'll be in amazing company, as this week's boycott is
co-sponsored by Mission Agenda, the Harvey Milk LGBT Democratic Club, The SF Young
Democrats, and the Transgender Law Center. We've got great speakers to kick things
off at LYRIC at 9pm: Greg Shaw from the Milk Club, Chris Daly from the TLC, and
Jazzy Collins and Richard Marquez from Mission Agenda.

Update on mediation
As you know, two weeks ago Les Natali suddenly backed out of mediation the day
before it was due to begin. Currently, lawyers on both sides are engaged in
confidential discussions about mediation, but Les Natali has yet to come to the
table, and a date for mediation has yet to be set. In the meantime, picketing will
continue. We're happy to announce that attorneys from the Lawyers Committee for
Civil Rights have now joined the complainants' legal team.
