Memorial anouncement by From Annette,
Hi all,
Plans are coming together for Joan Norman's memorial. This Sunday, at 3:00 PM at Forks State Park, just a half mile south of Cave Junction on 199, watch for sign. Joan's activist family is bottomlining this affair, giving Joan's immediate family a break. Who knows how big this memorial will be - as Joan had lot's of friends, family and fans! Tim Norman and Sue Norman Jones said they'd love it if folks come with a kick back attitude and make a day of it. Share time with friends and swim in the river, relax...remember...
We'll sure need the community to make this work. It may be quite hot, and there's no running water. So here's a list of wants and needs, and hopefully some of you will come and help us set it up, and later, break it down.
It's a pot luck. Bring your favorite dish, desert or whatever. Left-over food and water will go up to the intrepid Earthfirst campers dug into the Hobson Timber sale, which is part of the bullshit Biscuit salvage hoax.
