District Attorney(DA) Office - at the corner of
San Pedro and Hedding in San Jose.
I'm announcing protests at the Santa Clara County
District Attorney(DA) Office - at the corner of
San Pedro and Hedding in San Jose.

Dates: Wednesday, 20 July 2005
Wednesday, 27 July 2005
if the above dates are successful -
participation by members of the
community, we will continue ...
Time: 11:30 - 12:30

Please join the protest - demand the DA:
- open grand jury on Patrick Guire for killing Samuel
Martinez on 26 May 2005
- use prosecutorial discretion to charge law enforcement
when they break the law
- direct filing on law enforcement when they break the
law

Darlene

Please pass this on. We the people can put pressure on
the DA to start representing the people instead of law
enforcement.

If there is interest and participation in this protest
we can make it a weekly protest - constant pressure on
elected officials to serve and respresnt the people. A
constant reminder that people are taking notice of what
elected officials are doing.

It would be nice to get responses and/or feedback to this
announcement.

btw, three of us protested on Wednesday, 13 July - the
anniversary of the murder of Bich Cau Thi Tran in San
San Jose by San Jose police officer Chad Marshall and
the violent beating and pepper spraying of Mr Albert
Hopkins in Palo Alto by Palo Alto police officers
Michael Kan and Craig Lee. Many pedestrians and
people in vehicles read our protest signs. Some
pedestrians stopped to talk and ask questions.
