Here's a happening that everyone should know about and SEE! Sally Potter's film "Yes" (Sony Pictures ) will screen in San
Francisco on July 1st. I've read the screenplay and enjoyed it immensely! It's an excellent love story that reflects our modern day race relations & mirrors the tradedy of war.

About the film:
Sally Potter's new film "Yes". http://yesthemovie.com

YES is the story of a passionate love affair between
an American woman (Joan Allen) and a Middle-Eastern
man (Simon Abkarian) in which they confront
some of the greatest conflicts of our generation -
religious, political and sexual.
Sam Neill plays the betrayed and betraying politician
husband, Sheila Hancock the beloved aunt and Shirley
Henderson the philosophical cleaner who
witnesses the trail of dirt and heartbreak the lovers
leave behind them, as they embark on a journey that
takes them from London and Belfast to Beirut and
Havana. A unique aspect of the script and dialogue is
that it was written in verse. This poetry weaves its
way tactfully through this provocative allegorical
love story.
