The parade promptly begins at 10:30am, kicking off with the Women's Motorcycle Contingent, roaring down Market Street with more than 600 "dykes on bikes." Following close behind are over 200 Parade contingents and watching from the sidelines - over one million expectant eyes and ears, lined up 12 deep on the sidewalks as the Women's Motorcycle Contingent heralds the progression of community groups, local busineses, floats, marching bands, chorsuses, politicians, clubs, radio stations and more.
Keep in mind that public transportation is the best way to get to the 2005 Parade and Celebration. We also offer bicycle parking! Bring your bicycle to our parking area, located on Hastings Plaza at the corner of Hyde and McAllister (available on Sunday only).
