AC4A Pride weekend activities

Dear AC4A members,

Happy Pride Week! Please HOLD THE DATE for some fantastic Pride Week activities
(with more details to come):

Thursday, June 23 at 6PM: Come see Paris is Burning at the Victoria Theatre! This
film about African American and Latino voguers in Harlem helped to spur new interest
in non-white LGBT cultures and helped fuel one of Madonna's many reinventions.
Complimentary tickets for AC4A members are still available, so rsvp to
jonnynunu [at] aol.com if you're interested.

Trans Friday!
Friday, June 24 from 3-7PM: Please join AC4A at the Trans March (Dolores Park)!
Hopefully a sizeable number of us will arrive by around 5PM.

Pink Saturday!
3-7PM: Please join AC4A at the 2005 Dyke March Rally (Dolores Park)! Again, let's
try to meet around 5PM; please note, though, that men cannot march (at 7PM). We'd
also love to have a contingent handing out fliers at the Pink Saturday entrances;
last year, about 100 volunteers showed up to hand out 15,000 fliers! If you are
available to help flier, please contact bennie ferma at bcrosssf [at] sbcglobal.net
8PM: Meet at LYRIC to walk over together to picket at Badlands (note: no speakers
have been invited, so we aim to begin picketing as early as 8:15pm)

Pride Sunday!
8AM: Please join AC4A members at the Alice Pride Breakfast at the Sir Frances Drake
(tickets are $55 for Alice members)! For more details, please visit

All-day: Especially on Pride Sunday, please wear your AC4A/social justice t-shirts,
stickers, and buttons, and bring your signs -- home-made or otherwise. If you need
