SINK MUNI'S PLANS FOR MASS FIRINGS OF MUNI EMPLOYEES, AND A SUBSEQUENT FARE HIKE!

by MUNI Social Strike (angryworkers [at] yahoo.com)
A meeting will be held this Sunday to plan resistance to mass firings of MUNI employees and a subsequent fare increase.

RIDERS -- DON'T PAY DRIVERS -- DON'T COLLECT

MTA Chief Michael Burns has launched a major attack on
the wage-earning class of San Francisco. 200 MUNI
drivers will be fired starting June 1st, and a hike in
the fare from $1.25 to $1.50 is in the works as well.
But our exploiters ability to make our lives difficult
depends on our cooperation -- and mass collective
direct action can turn it all around. A "social
strike," where MUNI operators "forget" to collect
fares and riders refuse to pay them, will bring a
screeching halt to attempts to fire MUNI employees and
rip off MUNI riders.

Come meet with angry working people, and help plan an
Italian-style "self-reduction" campaign to sink
Michael Burns and all his plans...

REFUSE TO PAY will be meeting this Sunday, April 24th,
at 3pm, at New College, 766 Valencia Street. Look for
the sign on the front gate.
