performance of
The Brava Theater Center's
Guantánamo: 'Honor Bound to Defend Freedom'.

More about the show:
http://www.brava.org/Pages/CurrentPro.html#guantanamo

If the more than five hundred 'enemy combatants' detained at Guantánamo Bay feel isolated and forgotten, one new play puts them center stage. Guantánamo: 'Honor Bound to Defend Freedom' is drawn from interviews of prisoners and their families, U.S. and British officials, and others touched by this post 9-11 human rights disaster. Received with rave reviews and extended runs in London and New York, the play now comes exclusively to the Brava Theater Center.

The cast for Guantanamo feature actors from both New York and San Francisco. The New York contingent is led by the distinguished Harsh Nayyar, who has appeared in noted films such as Traffic and Gandhi, Ramsey Faragallah, whose credits include Small Time Crooks, Woody Allen's Hollywood Ending and The Peacemaker with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman; and Robert Langton Lloyd, a onetime lead actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company and a star of Peter Brooks' monumental screen adaptation of "The Mahabharata."

These mezzanine tickets were donated to the SF Bay Area Independent Media Center (http://www.indybay.org), a non-commercial collective of Bay Area independent media makers and media outlets. For a mere $20, you will receive a 1-year subscription to Fault Lines, the newspaper of the SF Bay Area IMC, as well as two tickets to the show, but you have to act right away!
