MAY DAY 2005 – SOLIDARITY WITH IMMIGRANT WORKERS & LOCAL LABOR STRUGGLES


Come help organize and be a part of a May Day March and community event (including a FILM SCREENING, DINNER, AND MUSIC) – MAY 1ST , 3PM @ JEFFERSON SQ. PARK

*3pm*: Meet at Jefferson Square Park

*3:30pm*: March with local community groups to Dolores Park.

*5:00pm*: At Dolores Park listen to speakers talk about immigrant workers rights and local labor struggles including:

- MUNI Strike against the fare hikes
- Flying Pickets – S.F Hotel Worker Strikes
- Immigrant Workers Rights – against the Minuteman Vigilantes in Arizona
- PG&E Environmental Justice – to shut down the PG&E plant in Bayview Hunters Point

*7:00pm*: Town Hall meeting, Free dinner, and a movie screening @ Cell Space – 2050 Bryant St. (cross 18thst.)
