Two Local Alameda County Action Alert Requests:

1. Today, in several of the Alameda County papers, there have been editorials on Justice
Kramer’s ruling regarding equal protection and marriage equality. The Oakland Tribune, Alameda
Times Star, Fremont Argus and Hayward Daily Review are asking for community comments (50 words
or less) for this Thursday's paper.

Please send in your response in support of Judge Kramer’s ruling, via the web at
http://www.insidebayarea.com/talkback

2. We are asking the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to pass a resolution in support of
marriage equality (specifically AB 19 – Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection Act).

Please call the Board of Supervisors and ask them to pass a resolution in favor of AB 19.
Contact the Board of Supervisors and urge them to support the resolution supporting marriage
equality.
