Susan Leal Lacks Vision and Leadership at SFPUC

Susan Leal the General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission lacks a clear vision and leadeship when it comes to Energy Issues and the over $4 billion dollar Hetch Hetchy Capital Improvement Project. Susan Leal and her buddies Barbara Hale and Karen Kubick are all set to place 3 Combustible Turbines in the Southeast Sector of San Francisco. The two existing old power plants already spew toxins into the air. The placing of the 3 Combustible Turbines will add more to the toxins in the air. They will also consume very expensive fossil fuel which the City and County of San Francisco can least afford. Added to this the 3 Combustible Turbines will use treated raw sewage water to cool the systems linked to the 3 Combustible Turbines. This cooling operation will release pathogens into the air and further adversely impact thousands in the Southeast Sector of San Francisco. Susan Leal is not an engineer - yet she wants to manage a huge Engineering Project linked to Hetch Hetchy. She has surrounded herself with close friends that do not know a thing about Energy Issues or the pertinent engineering issues linked to the over $4 billion Hetch Hetchy Capital Improvement Project. The main media has not been forthright and has failed to expose the lack of leardership and lack of education on issues and Susan Leal and her corrupt deals. Hetch Hetchy belongs to the Miwoks and the First People of Yosemite looked after the waters of Hetch Hetchy for thousands of years. The land was stolen from them and so was the Sacred Hetch Hetchy waters. It is time the waters of Hetch Hetchy are used only for drinking purposes. It is wrong to flush millions of toilets with clean drinking water from Hetch Hetchy. It is time we learn to Conserve. We ought to do this with our Energy too. We ought to work hard to have Solar Energy in place and work to have good well maintained Transmission Lines working. With good Transmission Lines in place we do not need the 3 Combustible Turbines or for that matter the 2 old toxic spewing power plants that pollute and kill so many in the Bayview Hunters Point. Who will take on the SFPUC and the corrupt Susan Leal who makes over $300,000 with NO engineering experiience.
