Progressive Town Hall Meeting II Set for Feb. 27

by Dan Bacher (danielbacher [at] hotmail.com)
Progressive Town Hall Meeting II Set for Feb. 27

If you’re concerned about the war, health care, the environment, civil liberties, the election and more, attend the Progressive Town Hall Meeting II on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento, 2425 Sierra Boulevard. The hall is located between Howe and Fulton, just North of Fair Oaks Blvd, in Sacramento.

The doors will open at 5:30 PM for people to gather and enjoy refreshments, while the Town Hall will run from 6 - 8 PM.

Come together with others who share your interests and participate in building a better progressive community. This is a grass roots opportunity to express your ideas and work on issues that concern you.  This event is designed to facilitate the generation of new ideas and groups. At the last Progressive Town Hall Meeting, several successful groups were formed that still meet regularly. The meeting will include small group breakouts and an idea exchange.

You can make a difference! This event is sponsored by the Working Group Against the War Agenda and other local progressive groups. For more information, call (916) 456-4840 or progressivesacramento [at] yahoo.com.
