As you may have heard, your organization, MECA, is traveling throughout California on a "Get Engaged Tour." Nine teams of 8-10 activists will build coalitions, share resources with local organizations and develop more chapters throughout the state. Your local team (Team 4) is kicking off their tour in February!

Team four will travel to Contra Costa, Yolo, Solano, Placer, Nevada, Sacramento, El Dorado and Amador Counties. UPCOMING EVENTS!!!

1. Sacramento National Organization for Women and MECA fundraiser Thursday February 3, 7:30-9:30pm, Lambda Center (L and 20th). $5 donation requested. Portions of "An American Journey" will be shown, a movie about the travels of the MECA Caravan last year.

2. Come with us to ask for marriage licenses!!! VALENTINE'S DAY, February 14 from 12pm-2pm. Celebrate the one year anniversary of marriages in San Francisco by enjoying cake and other treats! Stop by and see us!! 600 8th Street (8th and F Street downtown).
