"The Cruelty Connection", A&E special presentation, 1/26/05
The connection between violence towards animals and violence towards people will be drawn tonight on TV in A&E special presentation.
Tonight, Wednesday, January 26, at 9pm, the A&E television network will have a "special presentation" of "The Cruelty Connection."
The website ( http://tinyurl.com/5gwjt ) describes the show as follows:
"Law enforcement agents investigate the possibility that violent criminals often begin their life of deviant behavior by treating animals cruelly, then later learn to lash out at humans. We also hear from FBI agents who believe that some animal abusers eventually develop into serial killers."
I believe it airs at 9pm in all US time zones, but check your local listings.
Watch if you can, and most importantly, please thank A&E for addressing the issue. Lots of positive feedback will encourage more animal friendly programming. A&E takes feedback at:
http://www.aetv.com/feedback/feedback.html
Select "Programming/Viewer relations" and then, since neither "special presentation" or "cruelty connection" are options, you must select "General" from the pull-down menu.
I send thanks to Joan Garvey for making sure we new about this show.
