"Labor On The Job" on Thursday October 14, 2004 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM San Francisco Comcast Channel 29 When It Presents: SF Hotel Workers Fight For Healthcare & A United Contract Expiration Date Join Labor On The Job when we go on the frontlines of the San Francisco hotel workers strike. Over 4,000 workers have either gone on strike or been locked out by the biggest hotel chains in the world. Hundreds of striker replacements have been brought in to break the back of this critical hotel workers strike. Hotel workers in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. are also without a contract and face possible strike action. Joining Labor On the Job will be UNITE-HERE Local 2 negotiating committee member and OMNI cook Linda Knighten, activist and waitress Michelle Reddington and union banquet waiter Orlando Zelayandia.
