Equal Opportunity Now (EON) strongly supports the Oakland Education Association (OEA) leadership call for a Labor Day March to Defend Public Education. We call on all teachers, students, parents, and other community members concerned about the education of our youth to join this march.

This march represents an important step in buildind a movement of students, teachers, and the community that can solve the current crisis, and creates the conditions to win the resources our schools really need.
