Haters organizing anti-queer petitions

by SaveFreedom @ yahoogroups.com (sfBarea [at] yahoogroups.com)
Homophobic backlashers in "Season of Hate" circulate anti-queer petitions in various states. And yearn for return of assassin Dan White.

The homophobic "Season of Hate" backlash continues
[ http://www.indybay.org/news/2004/05/1679477.php ].

In San Francisco, near Polk and Union, this graffito appears: "Bring Back Dan White".
(Note to non-SF readers: White was the homophobic politician
who assassinated two elected SF officials.)

And in SF's Tenderloin district, this leaflet was posted recently:

"HELP STOP
GAY
MARRIAGES.
CALL
1-866-324-5006
FOR A PETITION."

If you call the fascists' toll-free number, please do so only from a public pay phone -- NOT from anyone's residential or business phone. They'll electronically verify the number. And if you let them mail info to you,
use a POB or PMB, not anyone's residence.
Waste their money if you wish, but remember safety.

The fascist backlash began during SF's "Winter of Love" (February- March) , with Muslims, fundis, and Nazis demonstrating near SF City Hall, while hundreds of same-sex couples waited in line to wed;
and continued with separate Roman Catholic and fundi Protestant marches.

Probably this Season of Hate will last through the November 2 election, as fascists campaign to amend various state constitutions,
and to extend the court-appointed Bush regime.
