A Pre-Bike to Work Day Benefit for the SFBC
What do the infamously hilarious weekly Trannyshack show and the SFBC have in common? Awards, for one - both won "Best of the Bay" nods from the Bay Guardian, for "Best Drag Show" and "Best Grassroots Movement", respectively. And when legendary Trannyshack founder and Ricki Lake Show veteran Heklina isn't performing, chances are she's biking around town. "I love getting on my bike - it's a fabulous way to start your day," reports Heklina, "I just wish working was half as fun."
