2/29: Propagating Party to Prepare Plants for Protest!
Propagating Party to Prepare Plants for Protest!
Sunday Feb.29, 11am-3PM at Berkeley Ecohouse
The Protest: the June 6-8 mobilization against the biotech
industry conference being planned in San Francisco. We want to do more than
say "no" to corporate control of our food supply and of life itself. We want to
demonstrate the alternatives‹organic gardens, community food growing,
natural medicinals, street transformations, massive giveaways of organic
seeds and plants. To make this happen, we need to start now‹propagating
cuttings, saving seeds, starting seedlings. So come and help,
Sunday Feb. 29,
11am-3PM at Berkeley Ecohouse 1305 Hopkins Street (Xstreet Peralta - 10
min walk from NBerk BART).
We¹ll provide potting soil and
some plant material and Root
Juice. You bring food and drink to share, your own pruners, your old
plastic pots (especially 4 inchers) that you¹ve tried to recycle and can¹t,
plant material
if you have it. Don¹t know how to propagate? We¹ll teach you!
