In solidarity with the families of the women of Juarez and those that are joining them there in an awareness weekend, CodePink will hold a candlelight vigil in Dolores Park similar to the one that will be held the same evening in Ciudad Juarez. Saturday, February 14, 6:30 - 7:30pm
Silent Candlelight Vigil in Solidarity with the Women of Juarez In solidarity with the families of the women of Juarez and those that are joining them there in an awareness weekend, CodePink will hold a candlelight vigil in Dolores Park (18th St and Dolores, SF) similar to the one that will be held the same evening in Ciudad Juarez. What better prelude to a Valentine's evening with your sweetie than sharing an hour of love, support and community? Bring a candle, a friend, or a partner. If you can't come to the vigil, put a candle and a heart in your window on Valentine's weekend that says, "In Solidarity with the Women of Juárez." Stay tuned for future actions and events borne from the events there. CodePink will join V-Day, Amnesty International, and many others in Ciudad Juarez on Valentine's Weekend to bring awareness and support to the families of the women of Juarez who have been brutally and systematically murdered.
