Wednesday, 11/21 Follow the Dirt road: an Introduction to intentional Community Renewed interest in communal living in the 1960s, especially amongst young people interested in radical social experimentation, led to many stereotypes which persist today. In this film members of over two dozen intentional communities throughout the U.S. belie these media stereotypes by discussing the organizational diversity of communal life, their motivations for choosing this lifestyle, and its advantages and challenges in the 1990s. New College Theater, 777 Valencia Street. 8:00 pm. A $3-5 donation is requested. See www.climinal.as/newcollege/cinema for our complete schedule. www.newcollege.edu
