Press Conference 10/14 on Police Brutality

Press conference against police killing of Terrance
Mearis

When: Tuesday, October 14th, 10AM
Where: 7677 Oakport Street (near the Oakland
Coliseum)

On Sunday, October 5th, 2 Oakland police officers shot
and killed 20 year old Terrance Mearis in his
apartment after waking him up from sleep. As in the
case of many police shootings, the Department claims
that the victim had grabbed one of the officer's gun
and the officers responded in self defense.

Please join PUEBLO and Attorney John Burris in
protesting yet another police killing in Oakland.
Demand that these killings stop and that these
officers be brought to justice. Beacuse even one more
death is one too many!
