Katherine Hepburn on Bankruptcy of Marriage
Katherine Hepburn's precise comment on marriage was: "I don't believe in marriage. It's bloody impractical to love, honor and obey. If it weren't, you wouldn't have to sign a contract"

As we say farewell to Katherine Hepburn, we recall our own memories. I am not much of a movie goer, but I did see "On Golden Pond," and it was clear to me that she, Henry Fonda and Jane Fonda were giving acting lessons to the rest of the cast as the three of them stood out as solid professional actors. The movie did not have great political content which is why I usually attend a movie. Yet, I stayed for that and still treasure the memory because of the outstanding acting of the Fondas and Katherine Hepburn.
