Michael Powell (Colin Powell's son), the FCC is moving aggressively to eliminate the last few public interest protections that prevent the most extreme media monopolization by very large corporations. These proposed changes will dramatically impact the diversity of news, information, and culture available by decreasing the diversity of ownership of local media. People
