Anti-war, pro-civil liberties activist took non-violent direct action to the streets today in Humboldt County. Critical Mass and protests at the Federal Bldg., Time Standard newspaper offices, and Congressman Mike Thompson's office as well as enroute demonstrations result in arrests, citations.

As people all over the world locally protest the war on Iraq, Bush and the other war mongers in Washington press on. With oil being the driving force, forces continue killing innocent civilians without hesitation, to takeover Iraq's rich oil fields, despite the disapproval of the United Nations and global citizens in mass! We demand an end to this mockery of a war! No Blood for Oil! PEACE NOW!!!
