LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO THIS WEEKEND? COME SUPPORT OUR THE PRO-WAR CAUSE!!!

PRO-WAR RALLY THIS WEEKEND - SATURDAY, 3/29/03 - CIVIC CENTER PLAZA
We've got a group moving in on the pro-war rally this weekend. We could use all the support you guys have got if you're into it. Here's the message that I sent out earlier this week. If you know more people that you think would be interested, please forward it on to as many people as you can. i think this is going to be a lot of fun!
Thinking about all the business people lining the intersections of market street last week cheering at the police for every protester they arrested I thought, "yeah, we should protest their protest!" But on further reflection, I realized, "No, we are a nation of ONE. This in-fighting and bickering only helps one person: Sadam and his Bin Laden buddies!"
I'm calling for people to gather Saturday morning to show our solidarity for the pro-warsters. Dress as finger-down-your-throat patriotic as you possibly can ("Try burning this one, asshole!" "Semper Phi - do or die" - any thrift store is swamped with these kind of shirts). Paint your face red-white-and-blue. Bring the most ear piercing "musical" instruments as you can gather - bullhorns, pots and pans, anything electrical that will produce feedback... if we can get the main march singing off-key, american tunes whenever the news cameras show up, we'll be doing our part. Don't learn the words. Ad-lib! The more disorganized, the better! Personally, I'd like to see how many ultra conservatives we can get to sing the "america's funniest home video" theme song at once. Bring the most ridiculous signs you can think of. We had a faux-protest movement planned for getting the public rallied to demand the return of the Statue of Liberty to the French - "Hey, France - come get your crap off our lawn!" (with a picture of the statue). Anything else absurdly patriotic that will put the pro-war scene into the same light would be great. "Gay republicans for u.s. imperialism!" "What would Jesus do?!" (with a graphic of jesus stabbing sadam with a bayonet)." Use your imagination.
On the news this weekend they were reporting on pro-war rallies across the country. They actually said, "New York city had a massive rally that hundreds of people showed up to." What is that shit? We have hundreds of people on every freaking intersection across the whole damn city for ours - and we still are lucky to get news blurbs. If they want to brag about their numbers, let's give them fucking numbers! Rather than the run of the mill "two hundred people amassed for a pro-war rally in San Francisco this weekend, while anti-war protesters rallied across the street," let's shit in their pudding! Show up. Make an ass of their movement. If they get in your face and demand you leave, ask them how dare they question your patriotism! Accuse them of communist ties! No tactic will be too sneaky and underhanded. Remember the photo of the message that a soldier had written on a bomb that was to be dropped on afghanistan? it said, "High-jack this, fags!!!"
our protest techniques are fun. their's are stupid and boring. let's shit in their pudding. spice it up for them. let's make it so any fence sitters stopping by see the crowd and turn away, going "these people are rabid psychos!" steal their airtime. if you see someone being interviewed by the media, jump behind them. nod in agreement. chime in that "one less iraji child is one less future iraji soldier - one less potential terrorist!" make banners with pictures of mutilated irajis with slogans like, "this is what you get when you mess with texas!"
