Police StateM20 - 7th & Mission - Police Tactic
A sequence; protestors marching into police trap, police surrounding protestors while ordering protestors to "Move on". 6 jpgs ![]() 1policewaiting.jpg We had just passed a nasty squad of cops on one side, when we see protestors running towards us from the other end of the street. We jump up on the wall of a building and found ourselves with a perfect bird's eye view of the protestor "round-up". Here is a series of police tactic, including a false order to "move it" (there was no where to move to).
The first image is of police waiting at 7th and Mission, while protestors head down Mission from 6th.
Shortsighted Protestors

"Move it!"
![]() 3moveit.jpg A cop orders protestors to "Move it!" in an effort to corral protestors into a police trap. A girl looks over the brick wall - it is the only place to "move it" to.
The next few images will scan the area, showing there is no where to "move" to.
Crowd Span A

Crowd Span B

Crowd Span C
![]() 6crowdspanc.jpg Cops surround protestors on all sides. In fact, those who make an effort to "move" are ordered and shoved back into the crowd.
The "order" to move (or to disperse) is a method of the cops to corral, then to divide and arrest protestors. My following set will demonstrate the police methodically utilizing force and brutality to divide a peaceful crowd. |
