I want to publicly thank Bikes not Bombs and Hugh for posting a li'l something for us timid late-birds. Since I am a nurse, I felt especially guilty about taking time away from patient care, so I didn't. But after work today, March 21st, I was happy to come and join the valiant who have been at it forever.

I notice that the police seem to have an easier time bossing around people on foot, though I unfortunately saw some cyclists get trapped and arrested in a sneak attack by the police by the main library.

I hope people will bring their bikes and join whenever they can. It's a model of kind cooperative good-spirited resistance.
