Antelope sproings by, ankle-bells jangling.
After wet weeks, Drum Circle celebrates rare sun.
Dancers, drummers, acrobats, jugglers,
hulahipsters play.
Janis, in short muscular mystic rebirth, chalks
"Peace within is peace with all,"
then dances to the peace-drums,
facing the soon-to-set sun,
closed eyes flooded
with golden light.
