Hacker Class War: BLACKHATBLOC

by blackhatbloc
hacker class war: corporate sell-outs vs liberty takers

this isn't about hacktivism. this is about hacker activism.
white-hat hackers take cushy dotcom jobs in the security industry
and get paid to put away their old comrades and of course contribute
to the military industrial security police state.. "anti-cybercrime"
laws get rammed through to congress and the security industry, including
the big accounting firms, are making billions.

the public fears the hyped up "digital pearl harbor" and the
hacker in all of us is suppressed as we begin to equate "security"
less and less with "personal privacy" and more and more with securing
private power's ownership of public resources like the internet, radio,
and now even ideas.

take back your culture, the hacker class war is upon us.

The issue is the right to own and use private property, especially intellectual property. Hacking and phreaking is burglary in an intangible form. You are wrong to state that it is a build-up of private power, or that it contributes in any way to some police state.

Clearly, you operate with the premise that making a profit is evil. Following that, you assume that the use of private property, including ideas should not contribute to a person's survival.

actually, i operate on the premise that the government subsidized the
internet for 30 years under DARPA/NSF and just gave the internet
away to GTE/Sprint/MCI without any meaningful democratic public
input. this is stealing public resources.

and when my comrades go to PRISON for "stealing" these public
resources, daring to take net access back from the corporations
that stole them first, that is wrong.

and when other hackers get security jobs and their job requirements
include catching other hackers and sending them to prison, or
testifying to congress that FBI CyberCrime and NIPC funds should
be increased, tougher laws passed so that more money will go
into their pockets, hackers will go to jail for LIFE SENTENCES.

that's the issue, friend. hacking and phreaking is not burglary,
it's creative expression and retaking of public resources that were
stolen from us (radio and television too). and it directly contributes
to conslidation of private power (see how many media company mergers
took place after clinton's Telecommunications Act made it legal
to own multiple broadcast stations in a single market??)

also it puts my friends in jail.

that's what this hacker class war is all about, friend.

And it should also be noted that in the great corrupt theft of our public communication resources, Worldcom was given enormous welfare and hand-outs by the government, and Worldcom is so corrupt than only a few years later, they have squandered the money, ripped millions off, and stole even more money in illegal schemes. Just like our public power is stolen by thugs like PG&E, just like people's water is stolen by thugs like Bechtel, all of which is violently opposed around the world.

I'll be glad to state clearly that I think profit - and corporate capitalism - is wrong.

Most forms of capitalism put money over human life.
