by San Francisco Voter
This conference is amazing in its arrogance and contempt for the intelligence of San Francisco voters in particular and American voters in general.

It is correctly assumed that the Republican Party, as a capitalist party, is incapable of fighting racism.

It is also understood by all socialists that the Democratic Party is a capitalist twin party of the Republican Party, and is thus incapable of fighting racism. All socialists also understand that the primary struggle is the class struggle and that we fight racism by defending the workingclass and fighting for socialism.

Most people who have been politically active for a few years will immediately recognize many of the names of the speakers at this conference as they are public figures with many decades of political activism behind them. Many of these people we all know to have been Communist Party members and are now members of the Committees of Correspondence. There is nothing wrong with membership in either organization and the former was known for accomplishing some good things.

However, there was always a strange sympathy with the Democratic Party and the reactionary politics of "lesser evilism" in the Communist Party, and thus, the truth about lots of Democrats, especially black Democrats like Willie Brown, was never told, although it most certainly had to be known. That is, Willie Brown is a lifelong organized crime, election-frauding, anti-labor, real estate, PG&E, gambling and tobacco industry attorney who profited from the whitening of San Francisco when representing the real estate industry. His story is told in "Willie Brown: A Biography" by James Richardson (1996: University of California Press).

Willie Brown currently sits in office with 40% of the vote plus election fraud, committed in December 1999, and he now has 20% support. He is universally despised by the entire workingclass of all colors for his anti-tenant, anti-homeless, anti-labor and anti-public power policies. This election fraud was committed in the same manner, by the same parties and with same 20-point difference as the June 3, 1997 49er Stadium Swindle election. The story of that election fraud can be found at http://www.brasscheck.com/stadium

The election fraud of the Democratic Party, Willie Brown, Jerry Brown and others of the 1970s, with the use of the CIA front known as the People's Temple, is described at http://www.brasscheck.com/jonestown

One of the featured speakers at this conference is Carl Bloice, former editor of the Communist Party newspaper, the People's Daily World. Mr. Bloice is a man who is over age 60 with many decades of political activism behind him and as an activist and editor of this kind of newspaper certainly knew all about Willie Brown. Yet we find that he made contributions to Willie Brown's campaign in 1999, after we all experienced Willie Brown's horrible first term in office from 1996-1999. Those contributions can be found at the website of the San Francisco Ethics Commission at http://www.sfgov.org/ethics (clict campaign finance, etc.) There you will find the contributions of Carl Bloice to Willie Brown as follows:

Contribution of June 2, 1999 for $100:

Contribution of November 17, 1999 for $100:

Should anyone decide to attend this insulting, hot air conference featuring people who have been supporting racist Democrats in general and Willie Brown in particular, you might ask all of the speakers these questions:

1. Are they registered to vote as Democrats?

2. In the last applicable election, did they vote for a Democrat for president, US Senator, Congress, governor, state senate, state assembly or any other office, whether partisan or not?

3. Did they ever make any contribution to any campaign of Willie Brown?

4. If they were San Francisco residents from 1964 to the present, did they vote for Willie Brown in any election and if so, in which election?

5. If they were San Francisco residents in 1968 and old enough to vote (over age 21 in 1968) did they vote for Willie Brown for Assembly when he was opposed by Kathleen Cleaver of the Black Panther Party running on the Peace & Freedom Party ticket?

If they answer "Yes" to any of the above and do not apologize for their misdeeds, they have no business telling anyone how to fight racism as they are actively promoting racism with such votes.
