Stanley Hilton now figures his case is stronger because of a coalition of attorneys, victims' families and bipartisan legislators who gathered in Washington on Monday to condemn the government's lack of action in preventing the Sept. 11 attacks.
Hilton is the San Francisco attorney who filed a $7 billion lawsuit in U.S. District Court on June 3 against President Bush and other government officials for "allowing" the terrorist attacks to occur.
Among Hilton's allegations: Bush conspired to create the Sept. 11 attacks for his own political gain and has been using Osama bin Laden as a scapegoat.
Hilton said he has information that bin Laden died several years ago of kidney failure.
"I hope it will expose the fact that there are numbers of people in the government, including Bush and his top assistants, who wanted this to happen," Hilton said.
His class-action suit named 10 defendants, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta. Hilton said he represents the families of 14 victims and that 400 plaintiffs are involved nationwide.
White House spokesman Ken Macias and Department of Justice public affairs officer Charles Miller each said their departments were unaware of the lawsuit.
Hilton, Sen. Bob Dole's former aide, has been publicly critical of conservatives in books he has written about Dole and the Clinton sex scandal. Hilton, who said he has sources within the FBI, CIA, the National Security Agency and Naval intelligence, demands Bush's impeachment and believes the truth will come out in trial.
Hilton claims the Bush administration ignored intelligence information, refused to round up suspected terrorists beforehand, and during the hijackings refused to disable pilot controls and switch to a ground-based remote system.
He claims the government benefited from installing a puppet Afghan government friendly to U.S. oil interests.
Hilton also says Bush used bin Laden's antagonist image to create a public frenzy, which allowed the Bush administration to tighten its political grip.

The 'leadership' of Saudi Arabia is buddy-buddy with the Bush Administration. That's why it doesn't raise a stir about it funding terrorism, forbidding the practice or believe in Christianity or Judaism or Hinduism within its territory, etc. etc.

But on September 22, two days later, according to The New York Times, the President was wrong, very wrong.

T. wo commentators reponded to 'american doug.' Both resorted to character assassination. The second made an allegation about the number of persons killed in the 9/11 tragedy, but gave no citation. Well I don;t actually know if Bin Landen is dead or has been dead before the 9/11 act but, I do find it hard to believe that 11 highjackers took 4 planes from 3 airports within an 1hour of each other. Wierd very wierd. I would believe one or two but four is a bit much.
But, there are other strange things about 9/11. Like after the first plane hit it was 20 minutes before the second plane hit. 20 minutes is a long time for a F-16. Plenty of time to send one up to bring down the second plane and certainly enough time to have shot down the 3rd plane. So what where they thinking. They knew all four planes where highjacked. They had them on radar. They knew at least one target (WTC) seeing as how one plane had already hit it. I know it is now one year later & they make up new stories like they where under the radar and such. But, last year at this time that is not what they said. They reported all four planes on radar and acknowledged that they knew where they were and where they were headed. Funny how the story changes over the course of a year. Then there is the strange story of the head of the Northern Alliance in Afganistan. He had been at war with the Taliban for many years and had taken several POW's from the Taliban. He had a meeting with (then president ) Clinton and Tony Blair in March of 2000. In August of 2001 the head of the North Alliance meet with President Bush and Tony Blair ( again ) giving urgent info on a impending terroirst attack. It was so top secret that 30 FBI agents present at the meeting quit thier jobs with no apparant reason. Wierd is it not. To top it off the Head of the Northern Alliance was assasinated on Sept. 9, 2001. Odd is not the word. Can't have any whistle-blowers can we. By the way most of the info I have just given was gotten thru a special on the Northern Allaince that I saw on MSNBC shortly after 9/11 and some of it came from specials on the history channel so this is not secret stuff just not well covered by a bais media. Think about it. It is all there for all to see but no one is looking. I got to admit it is clever.
First question: do you really think that a plane crashed in the Pentagon ? Look at the picture : obviously, NO. Many evidence of this fact : one hole for the nose, but where are the plane's wings ? It cannot be a jet. Now, why did the officials declare that it was a commercial plane? There's something bizarre...
