The reprint is as follows:
for those who collect straws in the wind as avidly as I do: here in the midst of Reagan Country; where news comes mainly from the Crypto-fascist Sacramento Bee, the pace of pro-Palestinian protest has picked up: activities scheduled every day or evening Tues through Sat...
Tuesday a rushhour demo at the new Fed Bldg; Wed PM Alex Cockburn at Coloma Center; Thurs another rush hour demo followed by Laurie King-Irani at the Hart Center, along with ADC's Michel Shehadeh; Fri Eduardo Cohen at CSUS; Sat morning a march from the Memorial Aud. near the Gov's Mansion to the Capitol; not sure whether the 11 to 1PM demo at Arden Fair Mall will be cancelled or not to join the Capitol march?
This is getting bad as Berkeley in the Bob Scheer for Mayor days! Wall to wall demonstrations sandwiched between crucial meetings! (All meetings were crucial then...)
You wouldn't know it from CNN/Fox, but attitudes have definitely shifted among the avg. working families.
And all the old radicals are coming out of the woodwork. To gaze at amazement at the platoons of new radicals created by Sharon's hubris.
