peace flag design by bay area artist

Melina Finkelstein, bay area artist and activist has designed a flag of peace for a new generation of people who imagine a world without war. Her flag entitled, The Blooming of Peace, represents the reemergence of the peace movement and all peoples uniting for peace. Ms. Finkelstein strongly believes that the key to achieving real peace lies in a shift in consciousness at the individual level. What we see, what we hear, greatly effects our thoughts and actions. This belief motivated her to use her voice as an artist to begin conceiving an ad campaign for peace.
