The Truth about 9-11

by Carol Brouillet (cbrouillet [at] igc.org)
Follow-up on the marches to Senator's and Congressional Marches demanding Inquiry of 9-11. Bush tries to limit inquiry. February 21st Michael Ruppert event open to legislative staff and public to explore lies and truth of 9-11 events/the War on Terrorism...
On January 8th activists marched to Senator Feinstein’s San Francisco office to meet with Senator Feinstein and Boxer’s staff to express their concerns about the “War on Terrorism” and demand an inquiry of 9-11 (see http://www.communitycurrency.org/9-11.html for the report with a list of questions raised and links to key articles). On January 15th activists marched to Congresswoman Anna Eshoo’s office to submit documents and demand an inquiry of 9-11, the event was covered by Channel 2 and broadcast on local television. Since then four Canadian television programs have been aired on The Great Deception- What Really happened on 9-11? (see http://www.visiontv.ca/programs/insight/mediafile_Jan21.htm for transcripts and links) and innumerable stories questioning the official version of events have appeared on the internet, in the foreign and alternative press.

President Bush has asked Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle to limit September 11 probes to only the House and Senate intelligence committees to learn what potential breakdowns among federal agencies could have allowed the terrorist attacks to occur, rather than a broader inquiry that some lawmakers have proposed. ( see http://www.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/01/29/inv.terror.probe/index.html for entire article).

The public and the press need to question the Bush Administration and the CIA’s role in the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks, as well as question “the War on Terrorism and the War on Afghanistan.”

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi is the leading Democrat on the joint Senate House Intelligence Committee which is supposed to oversee CIA activities. We need to educate her, and her staff.

Invitations have been sent to California Senator’s and Congressional staff to invite them to attend the Michael Ruppert event next Thursday, February 21, 2002, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Golden Gate Room, Building A, Fort Mason, San Francisco entitled “Truth and Lies about 9/11.” Darryl Cherney will open the event with songs and an update on Earth First! Versus the FBI, a case where an activist was bombed and the FBI falsely tried to paint her as a “Terrorist” and blame her for the crime.

Mike Ruppert is Publisher/Editor of From the Wilderness, a newsletter read by more than 2,200 subscribers in 27 countries including 20 members of the US Congress, professors at 12 universities, many authors and journalists. Through the newsletter and his website at http://www.copvcia.com, Mike has pioneered innovative analysis and groundbreaking stories on the impact of $500-600 billion per year in drug money moving through the US economy and the illegal covert operations which maintain control of that cash flow for US economic interests.

In the wake of the September 11th attacks, Mike was among the first to be publicly critical of a number of transparent flaws in the official story presented by the US government. In more than twenty stories since 9/11 he has followed his tested strategy of using only government documents, official statements or verifiable press reports as the basis for his work.

Peace, and Human Rights organizations will have tables and an opportunity to organize at the February 21st event. For more details contact Judith Iam (707) 824-9933, judeiam [at] cwnet.com or Carol Brouillet (650) 857-0927, cbrouillet [at] igc.org.
