Thanks Ralph!

by Pat Kincaid
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Congress voted Wednesday to repeal new workplace rules aimed at curbing repetitive motion injuries, the first legislative accomplishment for business-friendly Republicans who won control of the White House and Congress last year.
The measure cleared the House on a largely party line vote of 223-206, less than 24 hours after Senate passage. Democrats and organized labor protested vociferously, but President Bush has signaled he will sign it.

Fully story at the link above.

This rule regarding repetitive stress injuries was repealed by all Senate Republicans PLUS 6 Democratic Senators. Those Democrats are: six Democrats: John Breaux and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Max Baucus of Montana, Zell Miller of Georgia, Ernest Hollings of South Carolina and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas. In the House, 16 Democrats voted to repeal this rule. Both the Democratic and Republican parties are capitalist parties and thus by definition anti-labor, and both have an anti-labor record, the most recent of which are the votes on this rule. As to "Ralph" whom I assume Pat Kincaid (an admitted Zionist-see her comments on the Palestinians being thrown out of their homes by the Israelis)means Ralph Nader. Nader did not cost the Democrats the election; the Democrats accepted Bush's election fraud all by themselves. While Gore won the election, he refused to mobilize black community but simply acquiesced after a symbolic fight. As to the states other than Florida, no Democrat should have had to depend on a Southern state to win. To do so means the needs of the workingclass were not met by the Democrats for the past 8 years, which statistics verify. If Gore had won his home state of Tennessee, he would not have had to worry about Florida. If all the Democrats who had voted for Bush had voted for Gore, Gore would not have had to worry about Florida. The presidential election is always a referendum on the economy and the Democrats can only win such a referendum (and overcome election fraud) if they meet the needs of the workingclass, which they clearly failed to do. The Green Party is, however, a pro-capitalist party, with an illusion that we can somehow return to some non-existent utopia of a small business economy to solve our problems. Peace & Freedom Party, a socialist party on the California ballot for 30 years, 1968 to 1998, knows that capitalism cannot be reformed, and we always vote for the workingclass. To restore this excellent alternative to the California ballot, check Other on your voter registration card and write in Peace & Freedom Party. "Those Democrats are: six Democrats: John Breaux and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Max Baucus of Montana, Zell Miller of Georgia, Ernest Hollings of South Carolina and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas."

Aren't these among the eight who voted to confirm John Ashcroft?

The point here is that the damage to workers' rights is being done by both Republicans and Democrats. If the Democratic Party is so wonderful and protective of workers, and if we who "wasted" our votes on Nader should have backed Gore, then why is it that Democrats themselves are contributing to the problem?

Rather than show the folly of voting for Nader, I think everything we have seen from this Congress so far has been a total vindication of our choices in November 2000. The Democrats continue to show an unwillingness to stand up for workers, for civil rights, for the environment. They represent the corporations, not the people, and so long as this is the case, I see no reason why we should support them.

Go troll somewhere else. Blaming someone for for problems that they have nothing to do with is the most intellectually bankrupt move a person of intelligence can make. Ralph Nader? Please, Democrats have been serving big businesses with a smile for years.
As for your use of the blame ralph propeganda maybe you should read some George Orwell's 1984 for further pointers on twisted rhetoric meant to manipulate minds.
