About 30 people, mostly youth, gathered in front of the Army Recruiting Station which was closed after a school walk-out. We decided to march to downtown, taking a lane of traffic on Washington and chanting energetically. We danced in the intersection of Petaluma Blvd and Washington, and decided it was ours to be occupied! 11 kids sat in, bringing all of the on-duty police force and the Sonoma Cuunty Sherriffs. 3 blocks of traffic were re-directed, and a crowd gathered. An older woman was arrested as she tried to give the protesters water. Another young adult was also arrested for "interfering."

The 5 adults are out on bail. We need your support. We'd like to request monetary support! Please email the People's Revolutionary Organization of Sonoma County at prosonoma [at] yahoo.com
