PodBeeb?
( a suggestion for podcasting BBC radio )
Open letter to Apple:
BBC is experimenting with podcasting some
of its many programs.
The tests are going well --
but, in the longer run, BBC has no funds for podcasting.
And they can't really expect Brit telly owners (?) or taxpayers
to pay for world-wide podding.
Suggestion: a new nonprofit (or limited-profit) company,
owned jointly by BBC and Apple,
which would earn (from advertising and/or subscriptions?)
ust enough to pay for this service,
and perhaps to pay modest royalties for audio content.
Perhaps such a company could be called
"The Podcasting BBC Partnership" --
or "PodBeeb" ?
