Make November 5th a Day of Action for Women's Reproductive Rights!
Update on BACORR’s Day of Action/Emergency Rally

It’s getting close! As time draws nearer to Nov. 8th, the polls continue to show that Prop. 73, the anti-choice ballot initiative that threatens the health of teenage women, will be decided by a slim margin.
Easily %10 percent of California voters are undecided.
Make the day of the 5th a day of action for women’s reproductive rights! Persuade them to vote against Prop. 73!
Phone bank with the No on Prop. 73 campaign the morning of the 5th from 10:00 to 1:00 And then come listen the voices of the Bay Area’s Reproductive Rights community at the emergency rally in Park Dolores from 1:30 to 4:30. March with us in the Mission District as we commemorate the women who died from neglected childbirth, illegal abortions and/or domestic abuse.

Speakers for the rally include:

Statement of support by Emily Lyons, R.N, Clinic Bombing/domestic terror survivor (Letter read by Linci Comy) Linci Comy, Women’s Choice Clinic, Oakland, Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, San Francisco Board of Supervisors, City Councilwoman Nancy Nadel, Oakland City Council , Felicia Robertson, Planned Parenthood volunteer, Kim Alvarenga, Women of Color Resource Center, J. Parker, Women’s Health Rights Coalition/ACCESS, Nancy Mancias, Code Pink, Chris Carlsson, activist, historian and writer, Aviva Schultz, disability rights theorist, activist and poet, Eileen Schnitger, Feminist Women's Health Center/Women's Health Specialists, Michelle Tea/Jessica Lanydoo, writer and intuitive counselor, No on Prop. 73 Berkeley Student's Campaign, Yvonne Hamdiyah Cooks, California Coalition for Women Prisoners, Becky Lyman, Radical Women, Elizabeth Creely, BACORR, Luna Pantera, Reclaiming.
