Young Singers Spread Racist Hate
Oct. 20, 2005 — Thirteen-year-old twins Lamb and Lynx Gaede have one album out, another on the way, a music video, and lots of fans.
They may remind you another famous pair of singers, the Olsen Twins, and the girls say they like that. But unlike the Olsens, who built a media empire on their fun-loving, squeaky-clean image, Lamb and Lynx are cultivating a much darker personna. They are white nationalists and use their talents to preach a message of hate.

Known as "Prussian Blue" — a nod to their German heritage and bright blue eyes — the girls from Bakersfield, Calif., have been performing songs about white nationalism before all-white crowds since they were nine.
"We're proud of being white, we want to keep being white," said Lynx. "We want our people to stay white … we don't want to just be, you know, a big muddle. We just want to preserve our race."
Lynx and Lamb have been nurtured on racist beliefs since birth by their mother April. "They need to have the background to understand why certain things are happening," said April, a stay-at-home mom who no longer lives with the twins' father. "I'm going to give them, give them my opinion just like any, any parent would."
April home-schools the girls, teaching them her own unique perspective on everything from current to historical events. In addition, April's father surrounds the family with symbols of his beliefs — specifically the Nazi swastika. It appears on his belt buckle, on the side of his pick-up truck and he's even registered it as his cattle brand with the Bureau of Livestock Identification.
"Because it's provocative," explains April of the cattle brand, "to him he thinks it's important as a symbol of freedom of speech that he can use it as his cattle brand."
Teaching Hate
Songs like "Sacrifice" — a tribute to Nazi Rudolf Hess, Hitler's deputy Fuhrer — clearly show the effect of the girls' upbringing. The lyrics praise Hess as a "man of peace who wouldn't give up."
"It really breaks my heart to see those two girls spewing out that kind of garbage," said Ted Shaw, civil rights advocate and president of the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund — though Shaw points out that the girls aren't espousing their own opinions but ones they're being taught.
On that point, April Gaede and Ted Shaw apparently agree.
"Well, all children pretty much espouse their parents' attitudes," she said. "We're white nationalists and of course that's a part of our life and I'm going to share that part of my life with my children."
Since they began singing, the girls have become such a force in the white nationalist movement, that David Duke — the former presidential candidate, one-time Ku-Klux-Klan grand wizard and outspoken white supremacist — uses the twins to draw a crowd.
Prussian Blue supporter Erich Gliebe, operator of one of the nation's most notorious hate music labels, Resistance Records, hopes younger performers like Lynx and Lamb will help expand the base of the White Nationalist cause.
"Eleven and 12 years old," he said, "I think that's the perfect age to start grooming kids and instill in them a strong racial identity."
Gliebe, who targets young, mainstream white rockers at music festivals like this past summer's "Ozzfest," says he uses music to get his message out.
But with names like Blue-Eyed Devils and Angry Aryans, these tunes are far more extreme than the ones sung by Lamb and Lynx.
"We give them a CD, we give them something as simple as a stick, they can go to our Web site and see other music and download some of our music," said Gliebe. "To me, that's the best propaganda tool for our youth."
A Taste for Hate
Gliebe says he hopes that as younger racist listeners mature, so will their tastes for harder, angrier music like that of Shawn Sugg of Max Resist.
One of Sugg's songs is a fantasy piece about a possible future racial war that goes: "Let the cities burn, let the streets run red, if you ain't white you'll be dead."
"I'd like to compare it to gangsta rap," explained Sugg, "where they glorify, you know, shooting n****** and pimping whores."
Sugg shrugs off criticism that music like his should not be handed out to schoolyard children, arguing that "it's just music, it's not like you're handing out AK-47s."
Perhaps not, but Shaw says it's the ideas in the music that are dangerous.
"When you talk about people being dead if they're not white," said Shaw, "I don't think there is much question that that is hateful."
A Place to Call Home
Despite the success of Prussian Blue and bands like Max Resist within the White Nationalism movement, most Americans don't accept their racist message.
Like many children across the country, Lamb and Lynx decided to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina — the white ones.
The girls' donations were handed out by a White Nationalist organization who also left a pamphlet promoting their group and beliefs — some of the intended recipients were more than a little displeased.
After a day of trying, the supplies ended up with few takers, dumped at a local shop that sells Confederate memorabilia.
Last month, the girls were scheduled to perform at the local county fair in their hometown. But when some people in the community protested, Prussian Blue was removed from the line-up.
But even before that, April had decided that Bakersfield was not "white" enough, so she sold her home, and hopes that she and the girls can find an all-white community in the Pacific Northwest.

Dont like what you hear? I would suggest not listening. Think the coverage of a particular music should be censured to suit your moral and ethical tastes? I would suggest being less intolerant of others. (Ironic isnt it?)
Personally, this is the sort of news I want to hear about. We are a diverse culture, especially here in the bay. That diversity has a darker underbelly and I for one, would like to know whats out there to encounter.
People go on and on about how we live in Free Countries.. so why is it when someone wants to do something that they believe in, just because it's not what YOU believe.. that you go f**king crazy on them?
Don't like their music? Don't listen. Don't like what a video game does? Don't play. Don't like a religion? Don't go. Don't like what I have to say? Don't read it. If you still want to do those things, then don't complain.. you've officially given up that right.
Seriously people.. just grow the f**k up.
This type of thing makes me ashamed to be white.
They are not the spokespersons for "white" people. Noone should ever be ashamed to be a race. We are born a certain color. A color is a color, just like a number is a number. Now, lets say, if you were apart of their culture, then maybe you would be ashamed to be apart of it. That idea I understand.
I don't think the mental healthcare thing will work on the parents. We don't know if there is anything wrong with them. Sure, most of us hate their beliefs, but that doesn't mean they have a mental disorder.
I think as a percentage, more and more people will always realize that spreading hate based on race does not make sense. We cannot rely on this thought that I have, so your idea on educating people is the right thing. We should never specifically tell people how to think. In my opinion, that is not the job of education. If we give them the information, they should be able to think critically and make sound conclusions on their own. If the parents gave their kids this choice when they were being home "schooled", I think they would be completely different children.
There will always be a fringe. As long as the fringe is not getting bigger, there is no need for drastic measures. It is like a mole. Just leave it there if it isn't growing. But if it is growing, do whatever you can to stop it.

You mean a liberal education, don't you. The education system is a corrupted mess and your socialist ideas are not what we need in this country.
At one time, cells were strongly individualistic, but then formed into groups that we call multi-cellular organisms. Single-celled animals still exist, but we call them "bacteria", and the ones that are harmful get destroyed by something as simple as hydrogen peroxide. In human collectives, which we call "societies", there are still single-celled animals, which we call "fringe groups". And while they may tend to cause disease from time to time, they are largely held in check by the body as a whole, because the body functions better when their activity is minimized. The cost of eradicating them is too high, nor is it justified. Keeping them in a benign state is generally the cheapest and safest path. Let the girls record all they want. We can only hope that someday they wish more for their lives than the legacy left them by their family, and they will strike out for broader, more successful ideologies.
And yes there is a diffrence, betwewen a white person and a black person that say , i am proud of my race. It was the white race that gave the world racism, nationalism, and xenophobia.. It was the white race that created slavery as an institution for hundreds of years.
I could never understand why someone would think that one race is better than another. In my opinion - people are people. and should be judged on their hearts and minds, not on their skin/eyes/hair/whatever.
HOWEVER, I agree that they should be allowed to believe what they wish. No one really has a right to tell them they're wrong. but it doesn't mean that I dont feel sorry for their blindness. Seriously. having a "pure" blood line has got to be near impossible.

First, a brief "grade-school level" history lesson (as it pertains to this article):
World War 2 was a war in which a violent, insane man; (Hitler) rose to power in Germany through manipulation, murder, and intimidation. He used his power and position to brainwash the people of Germany into believing that they were the "elite" race, and therefore, should be the only race. By utilizing propaganda (including music), he encouraged intolerance and maltreatment of "non-aryan" peoples. Which was of course including (but not limited to) Blacks, Gays, and Jews. Hitler was killed in 1945, but apparently, his ideals were not.
Second:
Our nation was NOT concieved under the belief that "All men are created equal...with the exception of Blacks, Gays, Jews and anyone else who isn't white". Therefore, the idea that this racism has a "history in the nation" is not only absurd, but innacurate. The Civil Rights' movement, and citizens who refuse to tolerate ignorance, have supposedly obliterated racist thinking, as well as any widespread teaching of those ideals. I happen to believe that all the education and action of the past 50 years was not for naught.
Therefore, if we have learned anything from history, it's that ignorance and racism can not be tolerated in any form. Nor is it our duty as americans to respond to racism and cruelty with a "live and let live" attitude. Indifference and inaction breeds more indifference and ignorance, with no positive results.( I am not saying anything that has not been said before).
In response to the individual who thought that "you just dont have to listen if you're offended":
This is the ideal that is paralysing people from involving themselves in changing our environment for the better. The negative impact of this racist music is being ignored. The moment that a person with the ability to speak out against racism does not; they have lost the battle.
If the girls' musical message is allowed to spread (namely to the impressionable minds of children), the message will do nothing but grow and fester. And that is the biggest travesty of all. Don't support this music, and write a letter expressing your outrage to anyone who will affect a change.
Besides that, at least these girls can read unlike so many of our public school graduates.
The little pockets of hatred across America are something you see on Jerry Springer and you're like, they're just dumb hillbillies-- its not something you are gonna go do.
These girls are misguided because of their ignorance and lets hope they learn some sense eventually,but we cannot deny them freedom of speech because if we did we would be no better than Hitler who denied his people the right to express themselves freely without fear of persecution.
There is no well informed man (unless he's mentally ill) who could ever support those ideals.

Did you ever go to public school? I've gone to several, I garauntee they are not "preaching" hatred of religion. Like the majority of American Citizens, the same percentage of teachers (aka normal people) believe in god and folllow a faith of some sort. They are specifically not preaching anything for or against religion, thanks to the constitution and seperation of church and state.
What are traditional American values? The laws set down by the Jewish Faith? Muslim? Christian? some of these values conflict, and you can't just choose one. Which is why we have laws. Public school's purpose in society is to educate you in the structure of our goverment, intellectual pursuits and to put all children, black, white, purple, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, whatever on an even playing field. Values should be taught at home. That is a parent's job. And that is sadly often neglected, by people expecting everyone else in the world to raise ones children. Good, attentive parenting eliminates the need for a school or public institution to teach morals. It eliminates the need for censorship, pretty much most restrictions on the freedom that us American's celebrate.
If a parent cares enough to do homeschooling, that's awesome. But high school and college are far more important as social experience than math and science, and if you are not careful homeschooling may stifle that. Learning to stand up for yourself, getting along with people of differeing opinions, are extremely important skills to hone to be successful in today's world.
That's my 2 cents anyway. God, Allah, Buddha, unnamed diety, bless America.
When I watched them on T.V. I wanted to cry , I did not want my daughters to watch. I did call them to watch however because they need to know that this world is filled with all kinds of people who believe different things.
I can not hate those girls anymore then I can hate my own. My girls are proud to be part of american culture.
After watching them on T.V. my girls and I are more determined to continue getting to know different people and culture.

You say that people have the right to do as they please. The problem with that is that there must be a limit. IE: Thou shalt not kill (among others) People take this one for granted, saying, "Well, that one is a given. It's obvious. Of course you don't go around killing people." Where is the line drawn between what you can and cannot do? Is it right up to the point at which a human's life is taken? Where is it? Is it maybe, right up to where you punch someone in the mouth, but then stop? Or maybe, it's kicking them in the knee...Or TALKING about kicking them in the knees.

I, for one, do NOT believe this has anything to do with freedom. If these girls lived in MY community, and I heard these songs, the first thing I would do is keep my doors locked, and call the police. My community would disallow them from living near us and our children, with the belief that raping babies is acceptable. Whether they actually practice what they preach or not, it will not be left to be discovered. I will KNOW that it will never happen in my community, because they will discontinue their residence there. Maybe they don't actually sing about raping babies. Maybe that was a hypothetical. But "freedom" as you so patriotically state as being part of our heritage as Americans, has limitations. Otherwise, Anarchy would be our new freedom.

They certainly had their freedom stripped at that moment. Are you so naiive, to think that talking about something won't lead to practice of said ideas? I don't like to sound like a jerk, but this ignorance, that I find on this page, makes me upset. To think that there are so many people out there who think what you think, is vomit-inducing. You are upset about racist comments, responding to racist comments with racist comments. Apparently you think that this PARTICULAR form of racism is bad, because it does not agree with your form of racism. You said this:

I think your first problem is your lack of attention in school. Or maybe you went to a school where the history books had lines, if not whole chapters, crossed out by your teachers. The British were powerful, but not quite powerful enough to just run into Africa, forcing blacks onto a big ole' ship, saying, "You're coming with us!"

It was a group effort, and nobody is right for what happened. I take no sides in racism. I condemn racist people for racist thought, not particular races. Why is it so absurd to think that people could begin to take their minds off of racism? Do you think that reminding everyone about historical racism leads to deterioration of present racism? I tend to think it feeds a fire we've been trying to put out for years.
I don't like the term, "racial pride." To say that one is proud of his or her race, is to say that he or she is less than proud of another race. That is the father of racism. You are only recirculating it. Stop being proud of your race, and start being a little less proud, in general.

I admit, when I first saw the video, I thought it was someone's idea of a joke -- and then I read about it and realized how awful it really was. It's something I won't be able to soon forget, so I'm glad I found out about it. Now I realize how important it is to provide children and youth with information about these issues, from which they can come to their own conclusions. "Discovery learning" (an instructional model) would be useful in this case, in the classroom. Being able to think critically about these kinds of issues is something that must be learned, and the deepest impact will be made if youth arrive at their opinions and conclusions themselves.
I wonder, had these girls and their families unfortunately been caught up in Hurricane Katrina, would they refuse aid in case it had been donated by persons of a different race?
Also, for the majority of my childhood I had blonde hair and blue eyes. When I turned 15 my hair gradually darkened and five years on it's now brown. I wonder what effect this would have on the girls should it happen to them. It sounds ridiculous, but really, their whole belief system seems to be based on the colour of their hair, skin & eyes!
Prussian Blue is the result of a mothers need of attention. April Gaede forces her daughters to use the last name Gaede as their stage name. Their real last name is Lingelser named after their real father Kris Richard Lingelser who is a Nazi himself.
I feel sorry for her daughters. If they had a better mother they would have turned out different.

Racism Rising in the Golden State

CHINO HILLS, Calif. -- Despite all their big talk of honor, pride and the Aryan warrior's code, neo-Nazi Skinheads don't like a fair fight. Cowards by nature, they prefer to travel in packs and gang up on hate crime victims. The trio of Nazi skins laying in wait near a playground in a park here the morning of May 1 proved no different.
Around 11 a.m. that Sunday, a 21-year-old black man from the nearby city of Diamond Bar arrived at the park with a group of foster children from a group home where the man volunteered as an activities coordinator. He'd brought the kids to play basketball. As the players divided into teams, according to witnesses and police reports, the Skinheads swaggered over. They called the foster home worker a "nigger." They told him he'd made a big mistake by showing up in their park that morning with a bunch of mongrel brats.
The subject of their taunts and threats hastily tried to gather his charges to leave, but the Skinheads surrounded him and then attacked. They thought the odds were three to one. But they were wrong. Several of the kids jumped into the fray. Seconds later, two more adult employees of the group home arrived in a separate vehicle and heard the intended victim yelling for help. They also joined the combat. The Skinheads suddenly found themselves badly outnumbered in a fight they'd started.
One of them ran for their car, jumped in, gunned the engine, and promptly crashed into a park bench, then a metal exercise station, then a concrete barrier, and then, at last, a tree. Unfortunately, the damage did not disable the vehicle, and the Nazi at the wheel was able to throw it in reverse then roar across a field and toward the cluster of kids and adults from the group home, who by then had beaten one of the remaining Skinheads to the ground and were physically restraining the other while they waited for the police to arrive (several bystanders had called 911 on mobile phones).
The first officers on the scene found the enraged driver of the battered car wheeling erratically around the park, chasing the kids and group home workers in a deadly game of tag. They immediately blocked his vehicle with their own and arrested him for attempted murder. The other two Skinheads were taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault (one of them escaped from a local hospital that night after being treated for his injuries). A spokesman for the Chino Hills Sheriff's Department described the 20-year-old Skinhead driver as "a known white supremacist" who had previously been arrested for several racially motivated attacks in San Bernardino County. "He places himself in places where minorities will be and makes slurs," the spokesman said. Police found neo-Nazi pamphlets, stickers, and patches inside his car.
The attack in Chino Hills, a suburban city with about 70,000 residents, was no isolated incident. It occurred in the heart of the Inland Empire, a booming region of Southern California where tract homes are cheap, the air is filthy, and white power violence is on the rise.
The new minority
Made up of an area stretching from western Riverside County to the southwest corner of San Bernardino County, the Inland Empire used to be a sparsely populated, rural area of ranches, vineyards and farms, where whites were the clear and dominant majority.
All that has changed.
Driven from Los Angeles and San Diego by soaring housing prices, middle- and working-class black, Hispanic and Asian families have migrated to the Inland Empire in massive numbers, drawn by a surplus of comparatively affordable, big homes in sprawling, suburban-style developments. The rolling, high-desert terrain of the Inland Empire is now studded with more than 50 small to mid-sized cities containing a combined population of roughly 3 million. This continuing exodus inland from Southern California's expensive coastal cities has fueled large-scale residential, commercial and industrial development in the region. Horse pastures and orange groves have been paved over for strip malls and chain restaurants. Simultaneously, the Inland Empire has experienced rapid demographic shifts as more and more minorities move into a region that has long been a hotbed of white supremacist activity. Between 1990 and 2000, the Inland Empire's white population increased only 7%, while the number of blacks grew 61%, Asians 62% and Latinos 82%.
Whites are now a minority in the Inland Empire.
These seismic changes in the region's racial make-up have corresponded with a steady rise in hate crimes, including a particularly vicious spike in racially motivated violence and harassment in the past two years. During that period, as hate crimes dropped 10% statewide in California, the number of reported hate crimes in the Inland Empire shot up 20%. Last year, there were 148 hate crimes reported in the Inland Empire, most of them committed by racist Skinheads and other white supremacists.
This year, this disturbing trend has shown no signs of abating.
In January, in just one example, a gang of 10 neo-Nazi Skinheads attacked three Hispanic men outside a topless bar in Redlands, yelling racial slurs while they knocked the men to the ground then kicked them mercilessly. One of the victims suffered a broken arm. All three were hospitalized.
"The unfortunate reality is that the Inland Empire is California's own northern Idaho," said John Ruiz, assistant Riverside County district attorney, who has successfully prosecuted several high-profile hate crimes, including one in 2002 when he sent five members of the neo-Nazi Western Hammerskins to prison for stomping a black man with combat boots and cutting him with razor blades. With that case, Ruiz basically ran the Hammerskins out of town. The gang subsequently moved its base of operations to Mesa, Ariz.
"A lot of people are moving out here, and some of them don't like rubbing elbows with ethnic minorities," Ruiz said. "It's a small but very vocal segment of our society."
And, too often, a very violent one.
Cow hands wanted

Lake Elsinore's also got neo-Nazis.
In September 2003, three students were suspended from Lake Elsinore High School for hoisting a swastika banner up the school's flagpole during a patriotic assembly to commemorate the second anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. One of the students told a local newspaper, "I don't like black people."
And last June, on the second-to-last day of school, two Nazi Skinheads -- who were not students at Lake Elsinore High -- accosted two black male students who were walking across the school's parking lot with a white female friend who was also a student. One of the Skinheads pulled up his shorts to display tattoos on his legs of a swastika and an Iron Cross. When the targets of his scorn just kept walking, the Skinhead drew an ice pick, ran after them, and stabbed one of the males repeatedly while shouting, "Die, nigger!" The second Skinhead threatened the other two students with a claw hammer when they tried to come to their wounded friend's aid. The stabbing victim, a starting linebacker on the school's football team, was seriously injured but survived.
The Skinhead who wielded the ice pick, 19-year-old Armando Perez, appears Hispanic but insisted to police that he was white. He later pleaded guilty to aggravated felony hate crime assault. When the judge asked him if his crime was motivated by racial hatred, Perez replied, "It definitely was."
The Lake Elsinore assault took place 10 months after a comparable hate crime at a high school in Murietta Valley, a similarly sized, practically identical city that's just a short drive south on Interstate 15. In that case, a black basketball player at Murietta Valley High School was violently fouled by a white opponent in a game during which white fans yelled racial slurs from the stands. The next day, two white students attacked the ball player outside the high school principal's office, severely beating him while yelling more racial slurs. The attackers, then aged 14 and 17, pleaded guilty to assault and making racial threats, and served short sentences in a juvenile detention center.
At many Inland Empire high schools, racial conflicts arise when large numbers of incoming black and Hispanic students accustomed to urban environments undergo a clash of cultures with their new white classmates in semi-rural locales like Norco, a city of about 24,000 located 50 miles southeast of Los Angeles that still calls itself "Horse Town usa." Norco's official Web site plays "Ghost Riders in the Sky" as theme music, greets visitors with "Howdy, Partner!" and proclaims, "We are dedicated to providing a high quality of life while keeping our rural lifestyle." City jobs are listed under the header, "Cow Hands Wanted."
At Norco High School, two black female students who sat for lunch at a table in the shade that a group of white students told them was designated "Whites Only" last September were hit in the face with burritos and then punched in the face by two white males. A few days later, a group of white students beat another black student unconscious. Racist graffiti appeared on the school's walls. Yet another black student found song lyrics about shooting blacks placed on her desk.
"People of color move their families out here because they can get a house for the price of an apartment in the big cities on the coast, and because they think it's safer out here than the neighborhoods they can afford there. But a lot of times they get here and they find a different kind of danger, a different kind of tension," said Lorraine Watts, president of the NAACP in Lake Elsinore. "Truth is, they have second thoughts once they're here, and if they could afford housing elsewhere, a lot of them would leave."
'Forced integration'
From his home in Fallbrook, just south of the Inland Empire, notorious racist Tom Metzger has a front row seat to the rising racial hatred in his part of the world.
He likes what he sees.
"The chemistry out here is perfect for more and more racism," said Metzger, the leader of the white supremacist hate group White Aryan Resistance. "You've got all these non-whites moving here from Orange County and Los Angeles, trying to flee the crime perpetrated on them by their own kind in their ghettos, and when they come out here they're basically shoving forced integration down the throats of the whites who have traditional claim to this area, and that is provoking a negative racist reaction among whites, as it damn well should. It's great!"
Most locals don't share Metzger's enthusiasm.
Several Inland Empire school districts have formed diversity coalitions in hopes of curbing racial tension among students. Anti-racism community meetings in the Riverside County city of Hemet have drawn as many as 400 people, and last November more than 7,000 residents in Lake Elsinore -- nearly a fifth of the city's population -- marched down the city's main street to protest against racial violence in their community.
Not all such violence in Lake Elsinore or elsewhere in the Inland Empire is committed by whites. In 2003, four racially motivated fights between blacks and Hispanics broke out on campus at Hemet High School, resulting in mass suspensions, and last May, shouted racial slurs between black and Hispanic students at Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore escalated into a brawl involving 200 students. And this May, three Hispanic youths chased down a 15-year-old high school freshman and stabbed him to death outside his home in Corona in what prosecutors have termed a racially motivated homicide. The three made racially derogatory statements while their victim lay dying.
But by far most of the hate crimes in the Inland Empire are white-on-black or white-on-Hispanic. The most recently reported of these crimes occurred July 10, when four Skinheads with "White Power" tattoos and swastika patches repeatedly drove past a Hispanic family's home in Hemet, shouting slurs and threats while brandishing knives. After the family called for help, police officers tracked down the Skinheads and arrested them for making terrorist threats with a hate crime enhancement. According to an investigative report, the Skinheads denied being members of any organized white power gang. They told the officers they were "just proud about being members of the Aryan race."
Ok, yes, some of the things you stated were factual if not overly embellished. Now, would
you stop to consider that some of those points you made were a result of the society we
live in? Pressure from the more... privlaged... to remain impoverished peoples?
Also, 41 years is a very short amount of time for an entire social conciousness to change.
Anyone who studies history, and I'm talking about HISTORY not contemporary history of the
past 100 years, would know this.
And some people of color do not prefer being referred to as "african american", it has just
become a repeated usage of a term, based on cultural roots due to a massive displacement of
peoples from MANY DIFFERNT cultures from the same continent. I'm certainly not offended
that I am not refferred to as "european american", because that's just silly. I was born in
america, therefore am american. That is a fact. (Despite my major disagreements with
governmental policy at this time, but that is a different matter)
Think about what first brought those not of the aryan "race" to this country. The
circumstances. Buy a few history books. Google the subject. Watch l'Amistad (sp?). There
are things ingrained in people's heads that have yet to fully leave about those whom are
deemed "lesser" based on color. This type of social conciousness takes A LOT to change, and
I for one feel, barring the world not imploding on itself first, that day is getteing much
closer, but we are NOT there yet.
It's very easy from a middle-upper class, "white", privledged perspective to assume everyone
should have "gotten over it already" and "they" have been "given so many opportunities" and
should have come much further than they have after the Civil Rights act. That's bollocks.
The Civil Rights act was a governmental policy. That does not change one's views toward
people overnight, or even over a course of 41 years. It takes a couple of generations for a
concept like that to gel, to allow it turn into something beyond the civil rights act... to
be something the no longer NEEDS or DEPENDS ON the civil rights act.
I was raised upper middle class. I'm white. I'm female. I come from a very nice family.
I had no conception that there was a difference between anyone, male or female, white black
red yellow purple green, outside of pure aestetics, until I was about 12 or 13. I didn't
realize it, because I wasn't raised to see a difference. I wan't raised with any sort of
mention of these things at all, negative or positive. I was only sure of who I was, and
prepared to achieve whatever I saw fit. Period. I had no idea that genderand race had any
play in holding one back. The only thing that I can possibly take notice of when I look
back into my childhood was that I had few schoolmates who were not white. To be fair, I
don't think I meditated or questioned this fact much at all at the time, I think I just
happened to live in a neighborhood that just happened to have more white people. Once I got
to high school there was a huge diversity. (Mexicans, whites, blacks)
It was not until middle school that I was taught about some horrofic things some people
did to other people over silly things like skin color and religion and gender. I remember
thinking it was weird, but assuming that it was all a part of the distant past and that
everyone was past it. WWII seemed like a million years ago in my young mind. As I started
to grow and develop, I began becoming aware of the media, and what things were going on in
the world. It kept building, I kep gaining knowledge of all the strange things people do to
each other, becoming more and more confused and appalled. People thinking they're better
than others because they have more "developed" societies/technology? Many women in certain
parts of the country (the more...southern part) are still encouraged to marry directly out
of high school and pop out kids and serve their husbands? What about school? Don't they
want to learn more? Get careers? Lead fascinating lives? (note: I am not a feminist. I
believe in lead by empowered example) Police commit racial profiling? Racism still exists
in this country to a significant degree? There are KKK members who live in California? A
synogogue in my moderate sized town made up of very friendly interesting individuals was
graffittied with swastikas?
....Thus I have developed a certain bitterness towards all people, of every race gender etc.
including my own, because I have concluded they are a bunch of insane idiots who can't
manage to live sybiotically and aggree to respect each others differences and just _let it
go_. It's like I'm in a funny farm full of autistic children and I'm the one in the corner
wide eyed, sucking my thumb. (this is a gross exaggeration, mainly to prove my point. I
have a few friends, really I do, and they are of the nicest stock of people in the world)

These girls are a product of a home school atmosphere, from an extremist parent. This is a
fact. I would say the same if they were a couple of granola-hippie-freaks. However, the
difference is that the girls are preaching something that is not to the advancement of the
whole of humanity. They claim disrespect and disgust for those who "get in the way" of the
power of the aryan race. They are, ultimately, preaching hate. This is a result of
something called brainwashing.

These girls are allowed to believe whatever they want, leagally, and say whatever they want,
legally. This is called free thought and free speech. When you live in a country that
promotes free speech, this means that people will not agree each other, and discussthings
openly, loudly and with vigor in forums such as this one without fear of being persecuted by
the government. (I should add here "in most respects")
The second you tell them they cannot lay down these tracks and distribute these albums and
preform in public (pending the venue chooses to allow them to preform), you are destroying
free speech. They can do everything they are doing, KKK members can gather and march down
the streets when they choose, anti-war demonstrators can do the same, socialists can fight
to save Tookie Williams, one can complain about what a terrible job they believe the
president is doing, people can claim the holocaust never occurred (...), etc., etc.
I am not supporting these girls. I am not agreeing with anything they promote, in fact I
vehemently disagree with what they say. They are a product of their upbringing, and have
little original thought, because they were not raised to have original thought, as, for
example, I was. Butthey are excercising their civic right, nomatter how young they are and
how much lack of an understanding they have of the power they wield.
I give them a year before they're out of the media's eye forever, lost in the land of has
beens. I do not say this directly because oftheir message, because that will obviously be a
contributing factor to their demise, nor due to the quality of their music because worse
artists, stylistically, have a emerged over recent years (read: Lindsay Lohan, etc.). I say
this because MTV would never ever play them. And that, as you all know ladies and
gentleman, is the only way music is inserted into the national stream.

We musn't blame the children though, we must blame the parents. If a child is brought up being brainwashed by their parents that anybody who isn't white is inferior and should be exterminated then that is what they're going to think... All of these racial hatred groups on earth should be re-educated, and those who are so brainwashed that they are beyond re-education should be made to dig a trench and then lay down in it whilst someone shoots them in the back of the head, and ask them how it feels...
I'm white, i'm not ashamed to be white, i don't hate any specific race of people on earth, they all are human and all have feelings just like i do, i'm not religious AT ALL, through my own choice, not through my upbringing, and i really do not see why people become like this.. I find it disgusting personally and like i say i think these hate groups should be suppressed once and for all...
While in theory I believe in freedom of speech, it does become murky when you are dealing with something that has the potential to incite hatred of any kind. As parents I think all we can do is to expose our children to as much diversity as possible, and teach them about love, compassion and tolerance. [Sorry if that sounds quasi religious, I am actually an atheist!]

Have you forgotten that Black people were not even considered men back then, and thus undeserving of rights and liberty or even dignity. Blacks were the exception, and I am not having a hard time believing gays and jews were exempt as well.

Hitler's men told jews they were going to be deloused and washed in a bath house. The Jews took their belongings and visited the "bath houses". Either way the Jews were doomed. Two lines were formed. Line one was for jews that were able to work and line two for the sick, elderly and young children. Line one Jews were slowly and painfully worked to death and Line two Jews were Gased.
The "bath houses" even looked like their names. Showers and water pipes surrounded the room which fitted 2000 people at once. The doors would be sealed and the Jews struggled and choked on the gas. This painful process took between 3-15mins.
The guards would next cook the bodies in an oven, or if this did not work, then they would be set alight in a pit! Ash would be left. Then guards would send fake letters and emails to alive relatives telling them to visit the bath houses!

What many people fail to realize is the PSYCHOLOGICAL effects of racism. Americans of African descent are no longer being burned and lynched but are still being conditioned mentally. So are other races. I feel that it is my DUTY as a BLACK WOMAN of mixed African and European descent(I do not consider myself to be white or acknowledge my European blood in any way because the RAPE and exploitation of African slave women was devastating and breaks my heart to even think about it. But I have no interest in a seperate black society or anything of that nature.) to make films that speak the truth and tell an ACCURATE history about people of African descent. The great, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the horrifying.
I could go on for days BUT I WON'T...there are too many factors involved. It is complicated and requires people to dispell all the LIES they were taught they think are true.
Education is a partial answer but won't do much considering America and Canada's history were written by people of European descent. So in every way it only glorifies dead white men and their contributions. Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman are pretty much the only people spoken about that's nice but there is a plethora of people who did great things that aren't talked about. The contributions that other races, of non-European descent, are limited if at all included. Education will only be effective when each race, country, and religion can equally contribute to the education system and the country's history. The truths should also not be altered or removed just because people are offended or uncomfortable with the facts.
Just remeber that:
1. Blonde hair and blue eyes are RECESSIVE genes, brown hair and brown eyes are DOMINANT genes.
2. Race and physical features of people of different races has to do with the human body adapting to thousands or millions of years of a specific type of environment. Eg. Inuit people (Eskimos) have an extra layer of fat becuase their environment is ALWAYS cold.
3. Many people use religion as a tool of racial and gender oppression.
4. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS REVERSE RACISM! THERE IS ONLY RACISM!
5. Hatred is taught. So travel the world (or a diverse neighbourhood if yours isn't) EXPERIENCE is one of the best teachers we have.
If Lamb and Lynx never see the error of their ways they will remain in their own kind of slavery and they will never truly be free.
