A beautiful and mysterious piece of public art by artist David Best and a group of volunteers has gone up in the Hayes Valley as part of the new Octavia Boulevard project. It's a pagoda made out of scrap wood and unlike just about any other project in the Civic Center, there are actually benches where you can sit and enjoy the place. It's slated to go down after about three months so be sure to check it out.
