9/11 Audio Mix of Bushco Excuses
An mp3 audio mix that questions the official 9/11 excuses from the bush administration.
Listen now:
some quotes:
Bush: "Had their been a threat that required action uh by anybody in the government I would have dealt with it in other words if they had come up and said this is where we see something happening you can rest assured that the people in this government would have responded, and responded in a forceful way.
Nobody wanted this to happen to America. Had I had any inkling whatsoever that the people were going to fly airplanes into buildings we would have moved heaven and earth to save the country."
Amy Goodman: Previously undisclosed report from the 9/11 commission has found that FAA officials recieved dozens of intelligence reports in the months of the sept 11 attacks specifically mentioning the threat from Al-Qaeda. Despite the warnings the FAA did little in response to beef up security.
The FAA considered the threats serious enought that the agency distributed a CD rom to airlines and airports that sited the possibility of suicide hijackings.
Up until now the Whitehouse had blocked the release of the report that was completed in August, two months before the election.
Condi: I believe the title(of the PDB) was Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States. Richard Clarke mentioned sleeper cells, but there was no mention about anything that needs to be done about them. I don't manage the domestic agencies. It was the FBI's responsibility.
Rumsfeld: The department of defense is oriented toward external threats. This was a domestic airplane, which makes it a law enforcement issue.
