Viva!USA Easter campaigns for the animals
Easter in March? That's right, Easter is coming early this year. You can remind the public that Easter is meant to be a celebration of life by campaigning for factory farmed pigs and ducks. Each year, people line up outside Honey Baked Ham, but the "ham" that many people serve as Easter dinner comes from factory farmed pigs raised in crowded and filthy conditions before their lives are cut short by the horrors of slaughter.
And those cute, downy ducklings that represent springtime? They bear little resemblance to those crammed into factory farms without access to the water they so desperately need. Grocery chains such as our current campaign target Albertsons continue to buy duck meat from factory farms.
You can do your part to make Easter special by educating the public outside Honeybaked Ham or Albertsons. Contact Viva!USA now to get your campaign materials by Easter Sunday, March 27th.
Contact Viva!USA at orders [at] vivausa.org. Include your name, address and campaign target. Please specify which campaign materials you would like and we'll send your materials out as soon as possible. Each packet includes 100 leaflets and 2 posters. Because of the high volume of materials requested for our Easter campaigns, we are asking activists to contribute to shipping and handling charges by donating $5. It's a small price to pay to help these abused animals.
