The global antiwar movement has called for massive demonstrations on the weekend of
March 19-20. In addition to the rally in San Jose, demonstrations will take place
all over the U.S., including major demonstration in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and
New York.

Groups from all over the eastern U.S. are organizing buses, vans, car caravans, and
peace trains to travel to different cities for what promises to be a massive
mobilization against the war. People all around the world demanding an end to the
occupation and money for human needs, not for war.

Peace Trains

Communities outside of the San Jose are organizing "Peace Trains" to come to San
Jose on?Sunday, March 20

Activists will board trains at pre-determined times and locations and ride to the
demonstration together.

If you live in an area served by trains to San Jose and would like information about
a peace train from your town, or would like to organize a train from your town,

Ten Things You Can Do:

1) Come to the rally and bring a friend. Join tens of
thousands of people in downtown San Jose

2) Volunteer to help prepare for the rally. We need
many volunteers for this event. come on Saturday Feb 26th at 10 am to SJPC or call
408-998-8504

3) Put up posters and flyers. Stop by our office at SJPC to pick up flyers & posters
to pick up posters to put up in your neighborhood.

4) Organize at your job or school. Put up flyers or
posters, hand out literature, talk to your fellow workers
or students. Organize a group to come to the rally
together.

5) Organize a bus, caravan, or peace train. If you live
outside of San Jose, become an organizing center.

6) Call your friends, email your lists. Word of mouth is
the most effective way of getting the word out. Tell
everyone you know to be there on March 20th.

7) Volunteer to help out on the day of the rally. many volunteers
will be needed to help with setup, getting
out literature, security, and many other tasks. Call 408-998-8504

both Train Station and Cesar Chavez Plaza

8) Come to the South Bay mobilizing March 20th meetings
